In any other county in California, there would be one driver's safety office where APS hearings are held. This is not the case in Los Angeles, where there are four offices.  Additionally, it is extremely difficult to obtain hardship licenses if your license has been suspended. That means if you lose your DMV hearing, you lose your license. Working with an attorney who knows the hearing officers in that location can increase your chances of a successful outcome.

Very Important:  You must request a DMV hearing within 10 days of your arrest for a DUI or you will automatically have your license suspended.
